Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a very valuable tool for diagnosing a variety of conditions. This safe, painless, non-invasive exam uses magnetism and radio waves to create detailed images used to evaluate various parts of the body to determine the presence of some diseases that may not be visible with other imaging methods such as x-ray, ultrasound or CT (Computed Tomography).*
