Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) has known to be extremely valuable for diagnosing a variety of conditions. This safe, painless, non-invasive exam uses magnetism and radio waves to create detailed images that evaluate various parts of the body for the presence of certain diseases which may not be visible with other imaging methods such as x-ray, ultrasound or CT (Computed Tomography).*
NYSI puts treating each patient with individualized care and comfort as our priority with a relaxing and calming environment with your choice of music, earplugs and sleeping mask to make it feel like home.
This facility also has a digital radiography department, so captured images can be digitized and the radiologist can analyze bone and some soft tissue anatomy for diagnosis. We also offer Long Length Imaging (LLI) for proper scoliosis assessment.
