The MRI can even aid in identifying diseases that may not be visible in an x-ray, ultrasound, or CT (Computer Tomography). * The process is safe, non-invasive and painless which allows for our patients to feel comfortable. The machine produces detailed images that can evaluate different body parts using magnetism and radio waves.
At the NYSI, your comfort is our priority. At our location in Port Chester, NY, you will provide you with a relaxing environment, including our choice of music, earplugs and a sleeping mask. We want to make you feel comfortable and at ease.
We also have access to Long Length Imaging (LLI) in our digital radiography department. This helps us give a proper scoliosis assessment. The digitized images make it easier for our radiology department to analyze bone and soft tissue anatomy for a more accurate diagnosis.
