The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machine was invented in 1977 and has since revolutionized medical practices everywhere. It is a useful, non-invasive, and safe way to help diagnose a variety of conditions. Our MRI machine gives our spinal specialists the tools that they need to analyze your bones and soft tissue anatomy.
Our office also has state-of-the-art and technologically advanced diagnostic tools. In addition to our 1.5 MRI system, we also have a Digital Radiography (DX) X-ray. Our high-field short bore 1.5 MRI system supports many clinical situations. We can do MRI scans of the spine, brain, abdomen, pelvis, shoulder, knee, hip, elbow, wrist, ankle, and even the foot!*
New York Spine Institute’s brand-new GE 1.5 system will provide our physicians with precise, resolute pictures. With this system, we will be able to see high-quality and detailed pictures of your condition. Having these options will allow them to accurately diagnose and eventually treat your back pain or spinal condition.*
We want you to feel comfortable and confident in our office. Doctor’s visits can be overwhelming, and we don’t think they should be. That is why we have made our office serving our Glenham patients as “snug” as possible. We have relaxing music, earplugs, and even sleeping masks. We care about our patient’s comfort, starting with a relaxed environment to help cut out the stress you may often feel in a medical environment.
New York Spine Institute is even outfitted with its own digital radiology department. In this part of our practice, the images are digitized and radiologists can analyze bone and soft tissue. As part of this, we also offer Long Length Imaging (LLI) for a proper scoliosis assessment.*
*The effectiveness of diagnosis and treatment will vary by patient and condition. New York Spine Institute does not guarantee certain results.
