IMAGING SERVICES FOR WEST POINT PATIENTS

The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machine was invented in 1977 and has since revolutionized medical practices everywhere. It is a useful, non-invasive, and safe way to help diagnose conditions. Our MRI machine in West Point, NY will give our doctors the tools that they need to analyze your bones and soft tissue anatomy.

Our office in West Point has state of the art and technologically advanced diagnostic tools. In addition to our 1.5 MRI system, we also have a Digital Radiography (DX) x-ray.

Our high-field short bore 1.5 MRI system supports many clinical situations. We can do MRI scans of the spine, brain, abdomen, pelvis, shoulder, knee, hip, elbow, wrist, ankle, and even the foot!

New York Spine Institute’s brand-new GE 1.5 system will also provide our physicians with their best images yet. With this system, our doctors will be able to see high-quality and detailed pictures of your condition. That way, they can try to more accurately diagnose and eventually treat your back pain.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) uses magnetism and radio waves to produce detailed images of the body. It is extremely safe, non-invasive, and helpful to physicians. Many times, an MRI scan will pick up the presence of a certain disease when other tools such as x-rays cannot.

Spine and neck treatment can be scary. But we want you to feel comfortable and confident in our office. So we have made our office in West Point as “homey” as possible.
