Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) has become very valuable to physicians for diagnosing a wide variety of conditions. It is a safe, painless, non-invasive exam that utilizes magnetism and radio waves to create detailed images. These images are then used to evaluate various parts of the body and detect the presence of certain diseases which may not be visible with other imaging methods such as x-ray, ultrasound or CT (Computed Tomography).*
Our primary mission is to make sure each patient receives individualized care and comfort. We ensure your environment is relaxing and calming while you receive your choice of music, earplugs and a sleeping mask to make you feel at home.
Our location serving Balmville also has a digital radiography department. Using digital radiography, the images we acquire are then digitized so the radiologist can analyze bone and some soft tissue anatomy in order to diagnosis your specific disorder. We also provide Long Length Imaging (LLI) for proper scoliosis assessment.
