IMAGING SERVICES FOR BRONX PATIENTS
NYSI uses a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machine in diagnosing a diversity of conditions. Not only is it comfortable and safe but it lets us diagnose the root of your discomfort efficiently. * The radiologist in our digital radiology department in our Bronx, NY office can review the images of your bone and soft tissue anatomy. NYSI diagnostic imaging empowers us to provide tailored care by using this advanced technology.
New York Spine Institute uses state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging: a high field short bore 1.5T MRI system and Digital Radiography (DX) x-ray for our patients in Bronx, NY.
The high field short bore 1.5T MRI system can be used for many clinical applications including but not limited to MRI’s of the Spine, Brain, Abdomen, Pelvis, Shoulder, Knee, Hip, Elbow, Wrist, Hand, Ankle, and Foot. *
New York Spine Institute’s brand new GE 1.5T system gives our pain management doctors clear, detailed images of anatomy and pathology to support their assessment of a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders.
It has been proven regularly that Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is extremely beneficial for diagnosing a diversity of conditions. It is a safe, non-invasive tool that uses magnetism and radio waves to generate accurate images. Our doctors then review these images of varying parts of the body for certain conditions. Some of these may not have been visible when using other methods like x-ray, ultrasound, or CT (Computed Tomography). *
Our principal objective is to produce the best-personalized care to our patients that will help eliminate their pain while improving their condition. We also do our best to provide a soothing environment that consists of music, earplugs, and a sleeping mask to help you feel at home.
Our office also uses a digital radiography department. The radiologist examines digitized images of bone and soft tissue anatomy to determine the proper diagnosis. To adequately diagnose scoliosis, we use Long Length Imaging (LLI).
*The effectiveness of diagnosis and treatment will vary by patient and condition. New York Spine Institute does not guarantee certain results.
